Are you ready for a stocking-full of fun in just a few weeks?

Islington Green will be a hub of Christmas music, food, creativity and more on Saturday, November 23, for Angel BID's Glow in the Angel festive event from 1pm-6pm.

Meet the characters from King’s Head Theatre’s first ever Christmas pantomime Cinderella, Little Angel Theatre’s production of Scruff’s Christmas Adventure, and Tall Stories’ stage adaptation of Room on the Broom.

Little hands can have a go at gingerbread decorating, creating Santa spoon puppets, and making advent calendars. There’ll also be storytelling and face-painting. Musical entertainment will include a brass band and Mrs H and the Sing-along Band. You’ll also be able to belt out some Yuletide bangers yourself at the Lucky Voice Christmas karaoke booth.

And Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without the man in red. Santa Claus will be here to hear your Christmas wishes in his grotto, with William Tyndale School Choir providing festive tunes, both hosted by David Astburys estate agents. All activities are free to enjoy, with donations invited for local good causes. Don’t forget to download or pick up your free Winter Guide 2024 brochure from Glowand local shops from the first week of November for plenty of ideas of things to do, offers, discounts and more in the Angel this winter.
