London-based and Russian-born self-portrait and performance artist Maya Golyshkina brings her solo exhibition ‘SOMETHING’S WRONG WITH MAYA’ to Moosey Gallery in Camden Passage from April 27. The work features the artist shot in wearable sculptures, using the versatility of her own body to undermine the mundanity of still life. Maya places herself in the centre of the 'everyday'. Objects which often alienate in their mundanity, become the source of Maya’s strength, and ask the viewer to answer the question that’s been plaguing her for so long: am I still normal? Runs until May 5.
